Groupe BPCE is the second-largest banking group in France, built around its flagship retail banking brands, Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne. These cooperative shareholders own the regional Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne institutions, which together form the ownership base of BPCE.
