Notice Regarding Requirement For Information For Banking Transactions

BPCE IOM – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (“the Bank”) would like to express our sincere thanks to you for your continued trust in our products and services.

As part of our commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements and international obligations on Anti-money Laundering and Counter Terrorism, Sanctions and Enforcements, we would like to inform you of a recent update concerning banking transactions.

In accordance with:

  • FATF recommendations and international obligations on Anti-money Laundering and Counter Terrorism, Sanctions and Enforcements.
  • Law on Anti-Terrorism No. 28/2013/QH13 dated June 12, 2013 and its amendments.
  • Law on Anti-Money Laundering No. 14/2022/QH15 dated November 15, 2022.
  • Decree No. 19/2023/ND-CP dated July 28, 2023, specifying the implementation of several Articles of the Law on Anti-Money Laundering.
  • Circular No. 09/2023/TT-NHNN dated December 29, 2022, guiding the implementation of the Law on Anti-Money Laundering.
  • Official letter No. 06/Cuc V.3 dated January 6, 2021 issued by the State Bank of Vietnam, notifying the wanted list issued by the Ministry of Public Security.
  • The sanctions lists, terrorists list, enforcements lists issued by the intenational organizations, goverments.

To facilitate this verification process for banking transactions, in instances where there is a potential match or further verification is needed, we may kindly request your cooperation in providing identity information of the sender or receiver, and other relevant information of banking transactions. If we fail to obtain the required information, the transactions will be rejected or suspended and reported to authorities.

Your cooperation in providing these information in such cases is essential for ensuring compliance with legal obligations and maintaining the integrity of the financial system. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters.
